Saint Gachetté is more than a House of clothing.
It is the continuation of a journey that began long before the brand itself existed.
Our story starts in the Caribbean, in the communities of Sauteurs, Grenada and Soufrière, Dominica, where our grandparents were raised. As teenagers, at just sixteen and seventeen years old, they left behind the familiarity of home, family and everything they had ever known to travel to England in search of opportunity.
They arrived in a country they had never seen before.
A different climate.
A different culture.
A different way of life.
There were no guarantees waiting for them.
Only uncertainty.
Yet they carried something greater than certainty: courage, faith and belief.
The courage to leave.
The faith to continue.
The belief that a better future could be built through hard work, sacrifice and perseverance.
Those values became the foundation of our family.
They worked, endured and built lives not only for themselves, but for the generations that would follow. Their sacrifices created opportunities that many of us now inherit without ever having to make the same journey ourselves.
Saint Gachetté exists to honour that legacy.
The House carries the name Gachetté as a reminder of where we come from and what was required to get here. Every collection reflects the principles passed down through generations: discipline in the face of adversity, belief in the unseen, courage when confronted with uncertainty and faith during the journey.
What began in the towns of Dominica and Grenada continues today in London.
